ADJUDICATIONS
HIGH SCORES
High Scores will be given out to the highest scoring winners in each age division/level.

10+ Per Division- Top 10
5-9 Per Division- Top 5
1-4 Per Division- Top 4

Dancers with multiple solos can place once with their highest scoring solo. Solo Division routines per division are counted by dancer.

Categories with larger divisions may receive a top 15-20
OVERALL HIGH SCORES
Will be given to the highest scoring recreational, intermediate, and advanced in the following categories:

1. Solo/Duo/Trio
2. Group/Line/Production
​
12 and Under
13 and Up
​
1 OVERALL HIGH SCORE FOR ADULT, PRO AM, STUDENT CHOREOGRAPHY

SPECIAL AWARDS
JUDGE'S CHOICE
Each judge will give judge's choice awards during each awards ceremony. These do not reflect numerical scores.
STUDIO OWNER AWARDS
Each studio owner attending the competition will receive a blank special award. During the competition, each studio owner will award a dance (not from their studio) with a special award. Studio owners will be called to the stage during awards to present their special award to their selected dance.
OTHER AWARDS
Special Awards: Stand Out Awards, Judges' Choice Awards, Choreography Awards, Star Performance, Vibe Check
STUDIO FLAG AWARDS
Studio awards will be given at the end of each competition. A large custom flag will be given for:

Performance Plus: studio with the most energy, unique choreography, and overall best performance quality.
Studio Spirit: studio with the best attitude and sportsmanship.
Studio Excellence: studio that is represented in all categories (solo/duo/trios and groups) that has the best technique, cleanliness, and performance.

NATIONAL WORK IT DANCE CHALLENGE BATTLE
Routines will be chosen at regionals by judges based on entertainment value ONLY!
The Work It Dance Challenge Battle will be held on the last day of Nationals. Routines that were chosen to participate will perform a second time for judges. During this battle, the most entertaining number will be chosen by the judges to be the overall winner.
Dances will be scored by level.
